Oh Joy Sex Toy- Drawn to Sex 2: Our Bodies and Health – A Review

Share

Your Prince Deviant returns with a not so devious book. As you all know, I’m a huge fan of Oh Joy Sex Toy, a sex-positive site bought to you by Erika Moen and Matt Nolan. I’ve been following the site for years and was thrilled to be able to review the first book in the Drawn to Sex series and now I’m back with the next entry: Drawn to Sex: Our Bodies and Health

Now, as a biological female with my fair share of reproductive issues that have made my sexual journey…interesting, to be polite, this book would have saved your young prince many years ago. This guide is invaluable to those with a human body and the empathy and care that Erika and Matt cover is so important and beautiful. It’s so validating to see different bodies depicted and still seen as beautiful and valid. The guest comics are great (they’re always great) and it’s great to learn about the body even though I’d say I’m far from a novice when it comes to sexual and physical health.

The book is out 11/25 and is for sure a recommendation from me. Don’t let the comic nature of the book fool you, this book is indeed about sex, reproductive health and sexuality. I personally would be okay letting older teens with reading this book but it isn’t safe for children or work.
