As people still gauge whether or not they are willing to go to the movies while vaccines still roll out, Disney+ is moving forward with their slate of Summer films with a few changes, thanks to the success of Raya and the Last Dragon. Here’s the highlights.
We’re getting Cruella on Friday May 28, 2021 on Disney+ Premiere Access, and in theaters.
We’re getting the long awaited Black Widow on July 9, 2021 on Disney+ Premier Access, and in theaters, much to the director’s chagrin.
The animated film Luca will begin streaming June 19, 2021 and theatrically.
Theatrical dates have been moved around to the following:
“Free Guy” on August 13, 2021
“Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” on September 3, 2021
“The King’s Man” on December 22, 2021
“Deep Water” on January 14, 2022
“Death on the Nile” on February 11, 2022
