Happy Monday y’all! Who wants to hear abut the latest cool stuff going on over at Kickstarter? It would be pretty insane for me to try and to encapsulate everything that is available to help fund, so I picked a few things that I thought our readers might appreciate!

First up is a title I’m sure our readers would recognize, as I posted about it a few weeks back. Inferno Girl Red.

We all need something to believe in. Especially Cássia Costa.

An ancient cult and their army of demons have stolen Cássia’s home, Apex City. When a magical dragon bracelet rockets into her life and affixes itself to her arm, Cássia’s the only person equipped to stop the cult from offering the entire city to their dark lord.

There’s just one catch…

The magical bracelet is powered by belief, and Cássia — an intensely pragmatic, rational girl – doesn’t have much to spare. She’ll have to find something to kindle her faith, though, and fast —because she has a secret legacy to live up to. Because her mother’s life is on the line. And because Apex City needs Inferno Girl Red.

Inferno Girl Red has already hit it’s original goal and is currently working on stretch goals. It looks amazing, the art that Ive seen of it, and I’m so excited to see what Matt Groom and Erica D’Urso do with it!

Next up is a project that I normally wouldn’t be interested in. When it comes to media, I’m generally Treo on the side of “Give me ORIGINAL content please” rather than taking a thing that is already loved and changing it to be more relevant to today. But this? This I love. I’m talking about Classics… but make it gay.

What if we took art history and made it gay?

Hi! We’re Nova and Mali, and we like making collaborative gay art projects. Our goal is to create an art book full of famous works of art you probably recognize, but we’re making them gay, trans, and POC inclusive!

You want to see the Birth of Venus but trans? We got you.

Leyendecker but lesbians? We’ve got that too.

I love the tagline on their Kickstarter page, it makes me giggle. Classics…but make it gay has already hit it’s goal (by like, A LOT) but will be goign strong until May if you want to get in on it.

…and lastly, is a bit of utter cuteness. Stutterhug Vol 1 is just the sweetest thing I’ve seen today.

Stutterhug is an ongoing collection of colorful silent comics and illustrations created by Sam Davies, following the gentle emotions of cute little critters, magical beasts, and celestial bodies. The stories are told using the fluid movement of the characters to express both narrative and emotional progression. The comic has been running since April 2015 on both Tapasic and Tumblr for free, amassing over time a large fanbase that has found comfort and joy in Sam’s kind stories. Stutterhug is now posted online with the assistance of Hiveworks, and is suitable for creatures of all ages.

The first volume of Stutterhug, subtitled “Comforting Creatures,” will gather a selection of the animal centric stories from the comic. Instead of organizing the comics chronologically, Stutterhug volumes will be designed around chosen motifs.
