Brian Emond is a clickbait journalist and he’s done. He hates his life and is one assignment away from quitting or cracking, even though being a journalist is all he’s ever wanted. His final assignment before moving on to serious journalism? To find Bigfoot. Accompanied by his faithful cameraman, and a “cryptid-rockstar” named Jeffrey Stephenson, he agrees to go on an overnight research expedition. He sees something he think just might prove to be Bigfoot, but could it be something so much crazier?
Part of me wonders if the crew of 15 Things You Didn’t Know About Bigfoot (#1 Will Blow Your Mind) ever saw the masterpiece The Bigfoot Hunter: Still Searching. If not, they have likely spent some time talking to some of the Bigfoot hunters that give everyone the um…I don’t know him…vibes. I kept snort laughing having spent my share of time with both Bigfoot researchers and millennial vloggers. At one point a character is referred to as a “Game Stop Indiana Jones” and I cackled. Some of the acting is believable, other scenes are cringeworthy, but its all funny.
