As someone who almost wrote her Master’s thesis on the creation and ongoing storyline of Disney’s The Haunted Mansion, I need you to know I was thrilled this morning to see Disney +’s announcement of the upcoming show Behind the Attraction. If you’re the type that watched ride videos from Youtube of Disney attractions in your downtime, or has a collection of books on the theme parks’ histories, you’re going to be thrilled to see this one. The show releases all episode July 16th, and it will be a 10-part series narrated by literal goddess incarnate, Paget Brewster.
The show will include archival and never-before-seen footage and photographs, as well as delve into the history of how the attractions were put together by Imagineers or improved as technologies improved.
