Stanley is not living a great life. His girlfriend is very obviously cheating on him. He’s treated poorly at work and by everyone he comes into contact with. When a Demon Lord named Zed inhabits his body, Stanley finds he’s committing a slew of atrocities, but unable to stop himself. He seeks out an exorcism, but when you use a discount exorcist, you end up with some pretty strange problems.
Cullen Bunn’s work is everywhere lately, and for good reason. He knows how to keep it spooky. while still keeping the reader flipping through the graphic novel until the very end. Lucky Devil #1 is just the start of this new series, and with the ending of the first issue, we’re in for one heck of a ride.
