Heavy metal band, The Clay People, have teamed up with Top Cow Productions to publish their one shot comic Colossus, based on their song of the same name. Penned by Top Cow favorite Matt Hawkins, and illustrated by Christian DiBari, the obne shot is expected February 9, 2022.
Here’s the synopsis:
Colossus introduces a bi-racial teenager in middle America who, thanks to his grandfather’s last wish, unleashes an otherworld of hurt onto his tormentors.
Colossus was inspired by The Clay People’s song of the same name. Richard Leibowitz, EP1T0ME’s President, said: “The song means different things to different people; the more we heard it, the more we envisioned a story about an underdog with newfound, out-of-control power and the ramifications that using it would bring.”
