The 5 Worlds graphic novel series will end on January 18th with the new book The Emerald Gate. It is written by Mark and Alexis Siegel, and with art by Mark Siegel, Boya Sun, Matt Rockerfeller and Xanthe Bourma.
Here’s the official synopsis:
This final chapter witnesses the adolescent trio of Oona Lee, An Tzu, and Jax Amboy travel to the aquatic world of Grimbo (E), a mysterious and treacherous environment where carnivorous moss devours unsuspecting sailors. Here, the heroes must locate the final beacon–a towering, ancient artifact with the ability to restore environmental harmony to an overheating cosmos.
The otherworldly villain Mimic—who’s been sowing disinformation in the guise of corporate tycoon Stan Moon—lays in wait to sabotage Oona and company’s efforts. All the while, the half-plant being An Tzu hides a secret that could disrupt their vital mission.
