Did you know that Archie has a huge fan base in India? I had no idea. With a new film coming to Netflix, the new graphic novel The Archies in India comes to stores February 21, 2023.
Here’s the description from Archie Comics:
Over the eight-plus decades of Archie Comics history, the iconic Riverdale gang have had so many exploits that it’s hard to keep track of all the locales they’ve traveled to far and wide. But if there’s one spot aside from their beloved hometown that Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, and the rest have returned to the most, it’s India! And this month, all of those adventures are collected in one snappily-designed book called THE ARCHIES IN INDIA, in bookstores February 21.
And while that would be reason enough to celebrate, the trade paperback includes a brand-new story introducing ongoing character Prasad Arora to the cast! Prasad is a Bollywood heartthrob who’s managed to capture the hearts of Betty and Veronica on first sight, leading to a typically frantic slapstick caper through Delhi, in a hilarious story by veteran storytellers Bill Golliher and Dan Parent.
