The Great Yokai War: Guardians Volume 1, is the manga adaptation of the movie of the same name, comes to stores November 14, 2023 from Titan Comics. Written by Yusuke Watanabe and with art by Sanami Suzuk, the first volume runs 192 pages. A second volume will be available February 2024.
Here’s the official synopsis:
After giant kaiju threaten to destroy Japan, the guardian spirits of the nation, known as ‘Yokai’ appear before the young boy Kei… They tell him he is the descendant of the legendary monster slayer Watanabe no Tsuna, and may be the only person who can stop the catastrophe.
