Skybound and Image Comics, partnering with Universal Products, has announced the upcoming comic Universal Monsters: Creature from The Black Lagoon Lives #1. This is the first of a four-issue limited series from writers Dan Watters and Ram V, with art from Matthew Roberts and color work by Dave Stewart. Issue #1 comes to stores April 24, 2024.
In addition to the Creature himself, the series introduces new characters like journalist Kate Marsden and serial killer Darwin Collier, along with a returning character from the film – the mysterious Doctor Edwin Thompson.
