The new folk horror film Starve Acre has released a slew of stills from the upcoming folk horror film, and they are stunning perfection. The film is based on the book of the same name by Andrew Michael Hury and takes place in the 1970s. It is directed by Daniel Kokotajlo, and stars Matt Smith and Morfydd Clark
Starve Acre comes to theaters July 26, 2024. I personally can’t wait.
Here is the official synopsis:
When their son starts acting strangely, a couple unwittingly allow dark and sinister forces into their home, awakening a long-dormant ancient evil rooted deep in the countryside.
