‘The Unfiltered Enneagram’ Doesn’t Pull Punches

Author Elizabeth Orr isn’t here to stroke anyone’s ego or coddle personality nonsense and justification. She’s made a career for herself as one of the snarkiest Enneagram folks on Instagram, with deep insights and a great sense of humor. In her new book, The Unfiltered Enneagram, Orr guides readers through the “shadow sides” of our personalities and helps focus on how to liberate oneself from excuses and study how we cope with stress or fear. Using humor, sarcasm, and a clarifying view of the 9 different Enneagram types, Orr breaks down the different personalities and how to get out from under self-justification.

For those unfamiliar with Enneagram, the book is wonderfully accessible. For those who have done some Enneagram study, Elizabeth Orr does not talk down to the reader, but does force some pretty serious self-reflection. Often laugh-out-loud funny, I found myself actually interested in Enneagram studies for the first time. Orr’s sense of humor makes this book a delightful read, instead of another dense slog of an Enneagram book.

The Unfiltered Enneagram is now available.
