Popular Webtoon turned graphic novel, Covenant has its first volume available in print. From debut creator LySandra Vyong, the series follows a group of demon hunters working for a religious organization. A threat of war between good and evil moves upon the horizon, while one of the hunters Ezra is assigned to observe Sunny. Sunny may appear human, but demonic forces are on his trail. Ezra is distracted by his waning faith and Sunny by danger. The two start as enemies, but they can’t help but be drawn to each other.
LySandra Vuong’s graphic novel is beautifully drawn, spooky and fun. It explores the strange world of religion and differences in faith and practice. Vuong has a detailed world built into the pages of this book, immediately immersing the reader in a world of demons, religious tattooing, and the danger of being under the watchful eye of darkness.
