Disney+ and BBC have jointly announced the new Doctor Who spin-off The War Between the Land and the Sea, a five-part series starring Russell Tovey, Gugu Mbathra-Raw, Alexander Devrient and the absolute queen, Jemma Redgrave. The series is run by showrunner Russell T Davies, and features the return of the Sea Devils, a classic Doctor Who villain from 1972. Filming just began last month and will air exclusively on Disney+ and BBC One.
