Dark Horse and Studio Hermitage have announced the upcoming horror graphic novel, Our Brilliant Ruin: Horror at Crane Mansion. Written by Cullen Bunn, with art by Christopher Mitten, this new three-issue comic book miniseries follows the tabletop roleplaying game Our Brilliant Ruin. Issue #1 comes to stores March 26, 2025.
Here’s the official synopsis:
An investigator for hire finds herself in deep when a simple job of vetting a wealthy heiress’s suitors becomes a death trap. When guests at the heiress’s birthday party start turning up dead, their bodies brutally mangled, rumors and accusations start flying as our hero attempts to untangle a mystery she was not expecting to have to solve. The question in this Edwardian eldritch-nightmare meets Upstairs-downstairs drama becomes: who is a tragic victim, and who is the ruthless hunter?
