Written by Cullen Bunn, who has definitely made a name in horror comics the past few years, Arcana Royale #1 is dark, bizarre and fun. With a setting that moves around from murder sites, slaughterhouses, and abandoned churches, you definitely get the spooky. A.C. Zamudio’s art sends that creep factor home, with Bill Crabtree capturing the dark colors. Arcana Royale #1 sets the stage for the four-issue miniseries, which seems like a creepy good time.
