Dark Horse and Projekt Red have announced plans to continue releasing materials from original Witcher writer Andrzej Sapkowski with the new short story collection. Andrzej Sapowski’s The Witcher: The Witcher comes to stores December 16, 2025. The 48-page hardcover features the original short story, the script adaptation from Aleksandra Zielińska, with art by Michael Dowling and colors by Luis NCT.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Geralt pursues a proclamation from a king of a bloodthirsty monster plaguing his palace. A hefty reward is offered to cure the beast, but not to kill it, for the king holds a secret—what lies beneath the palace is beyond the spawn of evil. Charlatans and amateurs have tried and failed to answer the region’s plight. Now, Geralt sets out to claim the bounty—by decree of the king or by the pleas of those who wish the creature dead.
