The fan-favorite colorful online comic Hotel Limbo has started preparing for an April check in with Top Shelf. Book 1 collects the first adventures of BB, the new bellboy of the afterlife’s Hotel Limbo. After waking up in the middle of nowhere, our protagonist has on a mask and no idea of who they were in life. All they know is they are dead and the newest employee of the hotel, all without even an interview. Soon BB discovers that their gifts make handling the guests’ baggage more emotional than expected.
Hotel Limbo is written by Ben Harel, with a team of 28 artists. The changing style of the art gives the graphic novel a liminal sense, not unlike that of the concept of Limbo or a hotel in general. The softcover graphic novel is in full color, usually moving towards bold images and bright colors.
Hotel Limbo comes to shelves April 14, 2026, but is available for pre-order now.
