IDW Comics has announce their own way of celebrating Star Trek’s 60th Anniversary. Coming this September is Star Trek #1, from Eisner-nominated writer Christopher Cantwell and Ringo-nominated artist Dennis Menheere. The story follows Seven of Nine as a Captain exploring outside the four quadrants of the galaxy. We will also get Star Trek: Starfleet Academy- Lost Contact #1, Star Trek: The Last Starship and more Star Trek: Lower Decks.
There are also going to be two one-shots; Star Trek: Celebrations in May, and the Star Trek: 60th Anniversary Special this September.
