IDW is asking readers how far they would go to achieve their dreams with the upcoming series Fatal Fest. Written by creator Hannah Rose May, the series will feature art by Andrea Scalmazzi. If horror and satire are your thing, Fatal Fest blends both in an exploration of the commodification of art and the struggle to survive in a world that pits us against one another.
Here’s the official synopsis:
When six emerging horror filmmakers are invited to compete at Fatal Fest, the mysterious festival run by reclusive horror maestro Frank Finch and his legendary production empire, Fatal Films, they discover this is no ordinary film festival. Frank has one simple rule: to create true fear, you must experience it. If they want to win the Fatal Fest, they need to be willing to kill for it.
