In 1999, Kevin Smith’s film Dogma made us laugh while dealing with our own sense of existential dread. The film starred Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Linda Fiorentino, George Carlin, Chris Rock, Salma Hayek, and Alan Rickman. Titan Books has released the script in book form, complete with a thoughtful and funny introduction by Kevin Smith.

Dogma follows two fallen angels, Bartleby (Ben Affleck) and Loki (Matt Damon), who discover a loophole in Catholic doctrine that could allow them to return to Heaven, threatening the very fabric of existence.
