Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts is getting its chance on the small screen with Disney. Based on the beloved video game franchise, Disney announced that they’ve greenlit a television show for the Disney Channel and Disney+. The show is developed in partnership with game creator Tetsuya Nomura and the creative team of Square Enix (hear that, HBO? It’s that easy) to create a brand new story to expand the beloved Kingdom Hearts universe.
There’s no news yet on voices or a possible release date, but sit tight, folks.
