Tony Fleecs and Tim Seely are launching a new series with Image Comics, The Princess Murders. Issue #1 is set to release December 9th. The new musical trailer is an “homage to classic fairytale animated films.”
Her’s the official synopsis:
In The Princess Murders, a princess has been murdered and it’s up to her wicked stepsister and fairy Godmother to catch the killer. A Snow White Slasher! Sleeping Beauty Giallo! The Princess Murders combines the self-aware cheek of films like Enchanted and the Barbie movie and pushes them into the magical realm of campy horror.
The Princess Murders has all the makings to be one of the most buzzed about new series to wrap up 2026 and lead fans into 2027 on a high note. Here Fleecs leverages similar viral marketing potential to his previous sales hits Stray Dogs and Feral yet again with a series rife with opportunity for easter eggs, homage variants, character cameos, and innuendo. Seeley adds his talent for slasher horror and character development and the resulting alchemy will provide fans of D’orc, I Hate Fairyland, Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees, Chew, Dexter, Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil, Shaun of The Dead, and What We Do in The Shadows with the perfect new read.
