Wynonna Earp PosterFans of Wynonna Earp can rejoice and demons can get ready to fight. SEVEN24 Films and IDW Entertainment announced today that the show will get a second season.

Based on the comic book series by Beau Smith, the show stars Melanie Scrofano, Shamier Anderson, Tim Rozon, and Dominique Provost-Chalkley. Melanie Scrofano plays Wynonna Earp, Wyatt Earp’s great granddaughter as she battles demons and otherworldly creatures, protecting humans.

Showrunner and Executive Producer Emily Andras says she is “absolutely thrilled we have the opportunity to deliver more of our witty, female-led, kickass, diverse supernatural series to our passionate fan base around the world,” said Emily Andras.

Get ready to pop some popcorn. Season two is set to air on Syfy in 2017.
