In 2015, China’s one child policy finally came to an end. For a long time, families were only allowed to have one child or face severe penalties. Amazon Studios has partnered to distribute the film One Child Nation, directed and produced by Nanfu Wang and Jialing Zhang.
The film premieres August 9, 2019.
