The casting for Netflix’s upcoming THE BABY SITTERS CLUB has been released!

 

During the 90’s, THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB series reigned supreme in what is now considered YA genre. This massive series with several spin offs was written by Ann M. Martin centering around a group 13-14 year old teenagers of small town of Stoneybook who create a “one stop” place for baby sitting services. The stories have not only babysitting shenanigans but also tests in friendship, first loves, and general teenage drama. This beloved series has been through many show  versions and a movie, so let’s see what Netflix can create! The show will have ten episodes, 30 minutes each.

 

Judging by the photos, the  detail to authenticity is very exciting.  As a hardcore, long time fan of the Baby-Sitters Club, it is with happiness to see how Mary-Anne and Kristy are hugging each other in the group as their the original BFFs.
