Love ghosts, aliens, haunted objects, and the weird? Looking for things to do? Greg and Dana Newkirk, owners of The Traveling Museum of the Paranormal and the Occult are currently…well, not traveling. With the COVID-19 outbreak concerns, the Museum has to stay home and not do it’s regular rotations of bringing strange objects to town and giving presentations. Greg and Dana are gaining popularity with the show Hellier, a paranormal documentary series made with both the Newkirks, Karl Pfeiffer and Connor Randall. They are also guests on shows like Kindred Spirits and the Salem: Live investigation from October 2019 on the Travel Channel.

Greg and Dana have created two months of paranormal programming for those with museum membership to help keep people at home. If you’ve seen Hellier, chances are you’ve seen the recordings of Facebook live videos featuring some of their at home investigations. They are currently going through items that have either been kept in storage, rarely travel with the museum, or are too dangerous for the general public.  These include a haunted baby doll named Ruby, a “corrupted” New Testament, and even a Tibetan golden monkey head bowl used to make offers to demons to get them to leave you alone.  For those wanting to spend a little extra cash in their search for knowledge, Dana Newkirk also runs a level of the museum known as The Magic of the Month Club. Each month she and Greg put together sets of magical elements, of which Dana will use to teach a digital class.

The Traveling Museum of the Paranormal and the Occult decided to step it up during this strange period of time in our lives.  At this time, they joke that Paranormal Quarantine will probably become a Travel Channel show. The two have worked to put together a list of daily investigations with haunted objects, discussions on magick rituals, sound baths, guided mediation, and other cool surprises. There’s even a watch party planned for a Bigfoot documentary or two.
