Dark Horse to Publish Comic Prequel to ‘Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’

Over the weekend Ubisoft featured a preview (albeit with a lot of issues) for their upcoming game Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.  Today, Dark Horse announced the upcoming release of a prequel series for the upcoming game, in comic book form. The series is written by Cavan Scott and illustrated by Martin Tunica. Colors are done by Martin Tunica.  This series, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Song of Glory #1 is set to be released in comic shops October 21, 2020, and is currently available for preorder.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Eivor, a Viking warrior, observes a village raided by a neighboring kingdom. Bloodshed and mayhem erupt as she seizes the attack in her own favor—but will her victory be a blessing to her clan or a terrible curse? Elsewhere, another Viking searches for a different kind of prize, one of crucible steel . . .
Don’t forget to also look for The Art of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and The Art of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Deluxe Edition, which will be hitting shelves later this year timed with the release of the game.
