Z2 Comics and Universal Music Groups and Mercury Songs Ltd is bringing us the first graphic novel tribute to Freddie Mercury. The graphic novel is called Freddie Mercury: Lover of Life, Singer of Songs runs 136 pages and celebrates the lead singer of Queen and his life. It is written by Tres Dean, and is illustrated by Kyla Smith, Robin Richardson, Safiya Zerrougui, Tammy Wang, and Amy Liu
Here’s the official synopsis:
A first in the comics format, Freddie Mercury: Lover of Life, Singer of Songs will be a journey through Freddie’s life; from his childhood in Zanzibar and India’, through his formative years in England, to becoming the rock star, known and loved by millions around the globe. The story is told in his own words, with each chapter giving a glimpse into the many facets of his life.
There will also be a special hardcover deluxe edition. All versions are available for pre-order right now, and release November 2021.
