A few days late, (due to the holiday and a spring cold) but I’m back! Welcome to the first Kickstarter Round Up for June. There is so many good ones this week, a fair few of them with a LGBT theme which is great for the first week of Pride Month!
First up we have, Filth & Grammar by Shelly Bond which launches tomorrow, 6/03.
The comic book editor’s secret handbook.
Award-winning Editor Shelly Bond has been throwing red ink at comic book writers, artists, letterers, colorists, and logo designers for over three decades. Filth & Grammar is her magnum opus, a step-by-step guide to making comic books from cover to cover. It’s the first time Bond reveals the alchemy and method to her editorial madness. With art from Laura Hole, Imogen Mangle & Sofie Dodgson.
Next there is, Alex Priest: Vampire Hunter by Jordaan Arledge. A story that is 220+ pages of vampires, murder, magic, saving the world from monsters, and somehow winning back the ex.
Alex Priest is a comic about family. It’s a story about doing what’s right and learning from past mistakes. A story about trusting yourself. It’s a story about true love. And vampires. Alex Priest is a comic about a lot of vampires.
There is also, Beastlands by Curtis Clow.
A boy must journey to save his companion beast and get his friends back, before he pushes them all too far.
In Beastlands, you’ll go on an adventure with a group of three teenage friends, Mac, Ava, and Ping. They’re on a journey to find out what Mac’s father, an explorer, was trying to discover before he disappeared. On this quest, their friendships will be put to the test all while a tyrannical King looks to outlaw Keepers from the land.
Can’t forget The Love Offering Collection by Mike Hoffman.

An LGBT fairytale adventure about love and loneliness.
Eelp has always had difficulty integrating with his hometown community, being a 15-foot-tall half-giant. Although he keeps himself isolated on a secluded part of the island, he was always content and happy to be left alone. His artwork is wildly popular at the local market through Pani, his human mother, and the fisherman Kalolo is his biggest fan. Despite Pani’s constant discouragement, Kalolo seeks out the elusive woodworker to commission a new canoe.
And last but certainly not least, a bit of horror for your summer with Bump: A Horror Anthology by Joseph S. Farrar.
A single-issue comic book anthology, featuring seven different horror stories illustrated by seven different artists.
