Now here’s where I remind you all again that just because something looks like a graphic novel or a comic does not mean that it’s always for children and this one gets slotted directly into that category. This is not safe for work unless…your work is cool with that and not safe for minors or younglings!
However, now that it’s just us smutty adults; let’s really get into it.
This is not your mom’s re-telling of the classic Alice in Wonderland story unless I, a kinky queer genderfluid dom, am your mother; which, if that’s the case, brush your teeth and be sure to drink plenty of water and use protection.
I was given the first 4 volumes to review and I cannot recommend this hilarious, heartwarming, dramatic and smutty series enough. Come on! (cum on, indeed) A black female lead, UNAPOLOGETIC leather play, bondage done safely and with excellent communication and did I mention the black female lead is a writer? It’s like this was pulled from my daily life! It’s honestly the read I needed to get me out of my recent slump. The first 3 volumes are out now and volume 4 will be out soon (the 21st of July for us in the future).
I am so hooked on this loving little adventure that truthfully features some of the best writing I’ve seen in a while and some fantastic characterization and art. I just love all of it. I’d gush further but let’s cut to the chase: if this is your scene, this is mandatory reading as far as I am concerned.
