Welcome back to our weekly Kickstarter Round Up! We’ve got some really good offerings this week!
Today we start with, Egoraven: Heir of the First Unicorn by Daphne Lage.
A half-unicorn/half-human princess in exile is forced down a path more dangerous than fighting the Dragon Lords themselves!
Egoraven lives in Edinrahn, a magically powerful valley ruled jointly between Unicorns and Elves. Neither at ease with either her Unicorn or Elven caregivers, Egoraven makes the best of what she has but never thinks of what her own life’s desires are. But her quiet yet unfulfilling life is suddenly shattered when her step-mare Lilith joins the Elf Prince Rillian in overthrowing his own ruling family with the help of the vicious Dragon Lords. Wanting to bring back true magic to the Elves through Egoraven’s mixed blood, Rillian tries to take the half-unicorn princess for himself but instead, Egoraven flees from the valley with her uncle Amadaeo by her side. Now they wander the kingdoms of Men in search of any opportunity to return to Edinrahn and restore the Valley to its former glory.
Next there is, Animal Arithmetic 動物の算術: Beasts of Burden by KDFoxx, which got funded stupidly fast.
Where manga, animation, and jazz-hop meet in the middle to tell a unique end-times story.
Many years later after the mysterious silence of the one called Master, the Angel of the End makes its dreadful appearance over the skies of the physical and metaphysical realms, counting down the minutes towards the erasure of all existence. Spirits left in charge of their realms since the beginning of time have begun to formulate a secret strategy to salvage anything good left of it in hopes of appeasing Master and stopping the clock. However, in a lawless world of corruption and despair there exists a thin line separating angels from demons. Kayla D’Angelo, a committed misanthropic cynic with a drive to avoid humanity as much as possible, holds the key to her world’s survival after stumbling upon a forbidden knowledge deep within her nightmares.
There is also the super cute My Reaper Boyfriend by Husband & Husband.
Help collect enough souls to bring the webcomic REAPER BOYFRIEND to life!
REAPER BOYFRIEND follows a human named Charlie as he unknowingly sells his soul to the quirky, cynical junior reaper of the underworld, Jax! It’s a lighthearted, fun story with a nice balance of Disney, edgy and dark vibes. “As a creator, my goal is to give a louder voice to LGBT characters that are not the norm. I want to see more LGBT fantasy, horror, and untold stories, and I hope to help lend a hand to that mission, even in the smallest way. Hopefully I will inspire other creators as well, with your help in spreading the word about this book! Let’s make more gay comics!”
We can’t forget about, Cobblestone Chronicles: Michael Versus the Babysitters by David Baron & Elisa Wikey.
A light-hearted, action-adventure comedy designed to entertain children of all ages with real-life childhood experiences.
In the town of Cobblestone, Michael should be like any other sixth-grader, and he would if it wasn’t for his parents, who STILL leave him at home with a babysitter. And sadly for Michael, his parents use “It’s Okay to Have Fun” babysitting agency, where their company motto is “Parents deserve to have fun too!” The babysitters really don’t do anything. They cook pizza, pour drinks, and make sure Michael goes to bed really early! Oh, they also answer the door when the doorbell rings to say “no thank you” to late-night sales calls. They seem to answer the door a lot. WAIT!!! Why are so many people coming to the door? At night? Trying to sell things to a babysitter? This question keeps Michael up at night and he is going to get to the bottom of it.
And lastly we have, Chaotic Neutral by Mark Sable & Chris Anderson which we spotlighted yesterday with an interview.
An oversized comic book first issue and adventure module inspired by the old school fantasy roleplaying games that scared a nation.
They said fantasy roleplaying games were dangerous and they were wrong. But now? Maybe they were right to be afraid! CHAOTIC NEUTRAL is an all-new 48-page comic book first issue inspired by the old school fantasy roleplaying games that worried parents and teachers alike. CHAOTIC NEUTRAL delivers magic, adventure, and storytelling—with an edge. And CHAOTIC NEUTRAL is more than just a comic. Mark Sable has written an official CHAOTIC NEUTRAL Adventure Module that you can play using most old school fantasy games.
Make sure to swing by next week to see what else we have in store for you with our weekly Kickstarter Round Up.
