The Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) has announced that they will present the 15th annual Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film to absolute legend Michelle Yeoh. The award will be presented on Friday, December 9, 2022, at a Black-Tie dinner. This is the first Kirk Douglas Award to be presented since his passing.
Michelle Yeoh has been in more than 70 feature films, including the absolute trip that was Everything Everywhere All at Once.
“A well-deserved honor for the legendary and multi-talented Michelle Yeoh. She has been entertaining and thrilling us in films since the 1980s …… AND she does her own stunts!! Bravo Michelle!” says Michael Douglas.
