Hello, hello, hello
So it’s been a while. It was never my intention to be away for so long but things happen and sometimes life just becomes…too much. I’ve been struggling with my mental health and joblessness for the past few months but I want to come back. I need to come back. But while I was on hiatus here, I’ve still been busy for better or worse. There’s still plenty I’ve been doing. So here are a few of the things I’ve been doing during my hiatus.
Podcasting:
I am the co-host of not one but two shows: Unfortunately, Required Reading and The Yaoi Shelf. Both shows record at very least monthly and that means I’m regularly “in the studio” (my taken-over dining table) several times a month.
Making Videos:
That’s right, I also have my own Youtube channel! I sometimes find it easier to make videos rather than sitting down to write but I have been making some videos on Youtube when I have the time and can stand to look at a recorded version of myself!
Blogging:
I haven’t entirely given up on writing just sometimes, it’s hard to sit down and blog like I used to. I think I’m shocked by how much of me still hasn’t fully recovered from being canceled by guinea pig stans (a true and very weird story). I do try to sit and write but when I get home, my very finite remaining energy often strays towards chores or video games or other ventures that aren’t 1000+ word long think pieces about media that no one else cares about.
Suffice to say, I’ve been busy but I say that to announce that my plan is starting this month to return to posting about twice a month. I’ve missed this place, I’ve missed my following, I’ve missed writing.
So Your Prince has returned. And it feels good to be back.
