These nations are each run by a corporation. Magni and Dimo were created to destroy each other, and that’s what they do regularly. It doesn’t matter that the land beneath them is scorched or that Magni and Dimo suffer horrific damages that lead to repairing them like robots, they exist only to fight. The problem is, Magni and Dimo can see that the only person who could really understand them is their enemy.
Of Thunder & Lightning is colored in black, white, and an orange color that give the graphic novel an apocalyptic feel. Written by Kimberly Wang, the story captures the hollowness of victory when the cause feels unjust. This is the perfect graphic novel for readers who have just finished This is How You Lose the Time War and are craving more.
