Actor Jay Baruschel and comic book writer Van Jensen have created the new Dark Horse miniseries Tear Us Apart. If you’re a fan of the 1990s, bloody cults, and enough bloodshed to be a Tarantino film, this just might be the comic for you. The series is illustrated and colored by Alessandro Micelli, and lettered by Taylor Esposito. Issue #1 of 4 of Tear Us Apart comes to comic book shops September 6, 2023.
Here’s the synopsis:
Deep in the Canadian wilderness, a vicious cult, dedicated to an ideology of pain, trains children to become deadly assassins. In the midst of this world of cruelty, two teenagers break the cardinal rule—by falling in love. The only thing standing between them and happily ever after is an army of murderers with a taste for blood.
