Though issue #1 of Ordained comes out tomorrow, there’s already a bit of Hollywood buzz around the new title from Bad Idea Comics. Actor Colin Farrell joins the Russo Bros and John Wick creator Derek Kolstad to tell the story of a priest turned vigilante in an upcoming film. The series is written by Robert Vendetti, with art by Trevor Hairsine and colors by Dave Stewart. Announced earlier by the Hollywood Reporter, Ordained follows Father Roy, a priest called in to give last rites to a mob boss. When the mob boss unexpectedly survives, he seeks out Father Roy to make sure that the priest won’t get the chance to ever reveal his heinous crimes.
Ordained #1 is in stores December 10, 2025 from Bad Idea Comics.
