You’ve no doubt heard the names Marilyn Monroe, Robert Kennedy, Sharon Tate, and Natalie Wood. Those are just a few of the famous figures examined in death by the lesser well-known former Los Angeles County Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner Dr. Thomas Noguchi. The new documentary, Coroner to the Stars, follows the story of Dr. Noguchi’s groundbreaking autopsy technique, and just how many people looked to silence him when his examinations told an inconvenient truth about death.
Coroner to the Stars will go on a roadshow of theaters starting June 23rd, before coming to digital streaming on July 14th, 2026.
