It’s that time of the week again!! Welcome to the Kickstarter Round Up!

Today we start with, Heretics #1: A Wildly Ambitious, Neon Fantasy Comic by Dorian Alexander.

In a weird and dangerous city, two roguish wizards rekindle an ancient friendship while escaping the clutches of a powerful church.

Heretics of the Fathomless Realms is an emotionally charged action-adventure comic book series that takes place across numerous different sci-fi/fantasy worlds and follows a diverse cast of queer and magical characters. The first issue follows El and Im as they steal a magical cactus from the powerful Church of Sylisstrene. It features heartfelt conversations, titanic magical battles, and a beautifully rendered fantasy city as the two heretics flee the scene of their crime and land themselves in even worse trouble.

That is followed up by, Something’s Not Right with Shawn by Shawn Coss.

200 pages of full-color dark imageries from the artist behind Cyanide & Happiness.

Shawn Coss’s first-ever art book, featuring more than 150 full-color images over 200 pages. The book collects 20 years of “weird art,” including finished pieces, never-before-seen pieces, old-school throwbacks, and rare insights into Coss’s creative process. “If you love creepy dark artwork, then abandon all before you and grab this art book.

We also have, Heavy Issue #1 by Ben Perkins.

In a ruined world, Heavy must navigate the wastelands to restore balance to a world he has inadvertently destroyed.

Heavy features an equine protagonist who sees himself entrusted with a great responsibility — one that may threaten to expose his secret and shameful past. The world has changed after the Zenith Event, creating monstrous denizens and alien beings that populate the scarred Earth. In this futuristic world, Heavy must navigate the wastelands to either accept or deny his responsibility.

And how could we not add, Final Gamble by Bobby Singer and Jorge Santiago Jr.

A dark social commentary about the grip of predatory society.

The inaugural project from independent publisher Band of Bards, FINAL GAMBLE blends horror, psychological thrillers, and tabletop gaming genres to explore the corruption of wealth, the horrors of humanity, and the strength of solidarity. In this unforgiving Hell, people are forced to fight to the death in an elite gamble for their souls.

And last but no least, I Like Robots: A Chidrawgo Magazine Graphic Anthology by John Jennison.

170+ pages of robot comics, illustrations, and beyond from more than 40 indie creators.

Chridawgo has grown from a monthly drawing event in the basement of a Chicago comic shop to a collective of creators keeping each other inspired. We’ve produced zines, organized multiple cons, and kept creators connected and inspired through the pandemic. We are proud to present I Like Robots, the first of what we hope to be many Chidrawgo Magazine graphic anthologies. This full-color, 8.5 x 11 inch magazine features 170+ pages of brand-new robot comics, illustrations, and more from more than forty incredible indie creators. Every artist worth their weight in motherboards has a robot story roaming around in their databanks, and we’ve assimilated a collection that is sure to have your positronic brain firing on all cylinders!

And that’s it for this week! Make sure to come back next week to see what new and amazing Kickstarter campaigns we have to tell you about!
